Thank you Kirsty, it was so fun going through my folders and seeing my vampires as they were before the bug 😭 My shots are either focusing on architecture, a bird's eye view of something or someone, and either putting my subjects off-center by rule of thirds or trying to make them proportionate to the shot. Salve Doc, non so se devo darle del lei o del tu, forse sarà per la professione, perché anche al mio medico di medicina generale non riesco a dare facilmente del tu, nonostante me l'abbia chiesto lui. Oltre questo, tanto tempo fa sul tuo blog avevi postato qualcosa che riguardava zaini/kit di sopravvivenza, e oggi aprendo i social mi trovo in primo piano un po' ovunque un video su un kit di sopravvivenza fatto da Hadja Lahbib, la commissaria europea per la Gestione delle crisi, cosa ne pensi?

La netiquette prevede che ci si dia del tu, io odio il lei e a me basta che non mi chiami trottolino amoroso dudù dadadà (o se proprio devi, magari fallo a bassa voce senza farti sentire).

Dunque, Hadja Lahbib è una pivella che verrebbe morsa e trasformata cinque minuti dopo un apocalisse zombie perché quello non è né un 72H KIT e nemmeno Bug Out Bag... quella è la borsetta che ti prepari per passare la domenica pomeriggio d'Agosto in coda sulla A14 mentre rientri da Rimini.

Si chiama GRAB BAG o GET OUT OF DODGE BAG e si ricollega al discorso che tempo fa facevo del 'fuori in 60 minuti' cioè una dotazione minima per sganciarsi velocemente da dove ci si trova e raggiungere un luogo sicuro (e rifornito) precedentemente individuato.

In condizione di inattività e a temperatura non elevata, una persona dovrebbe bere 35 ml di acqua ogni kg di peso corporeo, quindi un individuo di 70 kg circa 2,5 litri al giorno, che possono raddoppiare se la persona è in movimento o ci sono temperature torride.

In 72 ore quindi 10-15 litri di acqua (senza lavarsi o cucinare).

Dire 'cibo in scatola', poi, è un po' generico... quanto?

Magari io sono un po' pretenzioso e/o ingordo ma se devo riempire uno zaino di cibo in scatola che mi sfami per tre giorni diciamo che lo zaino dovrà essere bello grosso, sennò poi l'apocalisse la faccio io bestemmiando per la fame.

Limbus Company Update 8/5/25

Emergency Fix: iOS had issues with purchase of new Pack as it wasn't yet activated. AOS under version 12 and iOS the download packages keep downloading and not letting game turn on. From what I understoos it kept updating text files for localisation in wrong directories. This error can't be deployed via hotfix.

Due to this compensation is 1000 Lunacy for accounts created before 15/5/25 on game update on 8/5/25.

Major Updates: More Dante notes! :D You need to clear Nocturnal Sweeping for new information. Information about next season starting on 15/5/25 proceedings were posted. Starting with halfing of Egoshards, as per season. Season Pass and story will updated in 3 parts on 15/5/25 (part 1, pass lvl 1 to lvl 20), 22/5/25 (part 2, pass lvl 21 to lvl 40) and 29/5/25 (part 3, pass lvl 41 to lvl 120+). You can reach higher pass lvl before next story unlock. This Season Pass contains only 4 E.G.O.s (before it was 6) for Sinners in exchange for their quality and more extraction tickets. This includes more exp tickets and two takeoff Modules for IDs. Season Pass paid Lunacy cost stays unchanged for both options. Lvl of IDs will be raised from 50 to 55, with that there will be new Exp Luxcavation with similar dmg type rotation as previous last one. IDs and EGO from previous season 5 will be unavailable till next season. New Mirror Dungeon in the works.

Bug Fixes and Improvements: R Corp. 4th Pack Reindeer Ishmael Skill 3 had not been triggering certain charge E.G.O. gifts upon charge consumption for attack, now everything should work properly. Certain UI interactions didn't work like they should in some circumstances for stage 1 - 8, but it had been fixed. Bug blocking few players from accessing Mirror Dungeon immediately after Canto 2 had been fixed. It was an issue with the button. Enemy guide information didn't unlock properly for Focused Encounter enemies in Regular Encounters, now all information should be accessible normally. Passives of enemies in MD Pack "The Heartbreaking" had been switched, it was adjusted to proper instances. In Dante's notes Cinq Association no longer appears as "UNKNOWN". On mobile devices screen darkening effects used in Tutorial was fixed to work properly on some devices. Announcers can't appear in tutorial anymore to not disrupt the introduction. Text fixes for Ebony Queen's Apple Abnormality. Tutorial image no longer is missing for tutorial for stage 1 - 4 about on screen ccombat information.

As per regular maintenance, 300 Lunacy is waiting for players. In free time I reccomend reading a summary of Dream of Red Chamber and watching the trailer for Zang Hua Yin (excuse me my lack of special sumbols) again. Check characters and their motivations. There are at least two YouTubers that also covered the book from fans of Project Moon side, it will take only take an hour each. In this order, it gives slightly more context. Why summary? You won't be reading a thick book in time. If you didn't do it before Canto approached, and what you will be reading is The Canto itself. Bells do toll loudly...

In der Android-App können User:innen, die Android 10 oder höher verwenden, ab Version 34.5 der App wieder Bilder herunterladen.

Gestern wurden für kurze Zeit keine E-Mails zum Zurücksetzen von Passwörtern verschickt. Dies wurde schnell behoben. Bitte sende eine neue E-Mail zum Zurücksetzen des Passworts, falls nötig, und kontaktiere den Support, falls du sie bis jetzt nicht erhalten hast.

-Fixed the issue where the UI appears cut off on certain devices. (iPhone Xr, 11, 15 Pro)

-Resolved the error that occurred when the 2048 game ends.

-Fixed the issue where the special food does not unlock when purchasing a theme that includes special food.

<Improvements>

-The 'Settings' pop-up window has been reorganized.

-Added an option to adjust the distance between the finger and the item when touching an item.

There have been some reports that it's uncomfortable when the item doesn't align with the finger's position while touching or dragging it. We've improved this by adding an option where you can adjust the distance between your finger and the item!

-Added a mini-guide related to customizing the background for Pattern 1.

Although it's not been long since the release, many users have shared their customized game screens(Thank you so much!). Interestingly, most users haven’t been using the Pattern 1 background. You can customize two colors in Pattern 1! Explanation about this feature might have been insufficient, so I've added a simple mini-guide.

Sul web, ora c'è una nuova scorciatoia da tastiera: nella Posta, premi il tasto A quando appare una richiesta o un contributo; si aprirà così il modulo delle risposte (o il modulo di modifica per i contributi).

Sul web abbiamo aggiunto un'altra scorciatoia da tastiera per eliminare i post. Premi il tasto D quando appare un post e apparirà un messaggio in cui ti viene chiesto se vuoi davvero eliminare il post.

Sul web abbiamo aggiunto una funzionalità per mettere in pausa (e poi riprendere) la coda del blog. Il pulsante si trova in alto nella pagina della coda del blog, insieme al resto delle impostazioni della coda. Una cosa veloce: se Queue 2.0 è abilitato (in Lab), devi disabilitarlo se vuoi vedere il pulsante pausa/riprendi.

Abbiamo aggiornato le notifiche Discord per le nuove menzioni del tuo blog con un po' di contesto in più sul post o la risposta in cui c'è un  riferimento a te.

Sappiamo che una delle ultime versioni dell'app per iOS app (32.2) presentava problemi (si chiudeva) agli utenti di iOS 15. L'ultima versione dell'app, la 32.2.1, in uscita oggi, risolve il problema.

Abbiamo corretto un bug sul banner per il consenso GDPR sui blog che ora impedisce di comparire di nuovo dopo che hai dato il consenso.

Quando usi Tumblr su browser mobile, i suggerimenti per le menzioni dei blog ora riempiono l'intero menù a discesa.

OK. OMEGA LABS ESSENTIAL LORE

HERES A GOOGLE DOC IF YOU WISH TO VIEW IT ON THAT

so some basics. omega labs. scp foundation/lobotomy corporation type deal setting. contain and research weird creatures and phenomena. im still figuring out some things abt the specifics of the company itself but thats the main important part of it, and also that the founder that "died" in i think 1940? is still living as a brain in a jar that is telepathically linked to the current ceo (and every ceo before him). and everything is remarkably fucked up there like just so fucked up. as for the varying types of entities,

the main actual official classes are epsilon, gamma, iota and zeta, with epsilon being the safest, gamma being less safe and having more potential to cause danger, iota being more dangerous than that, and zeta being the most dangerous. theres also two extra ones, omega which is a threat to the company and world (but theres no actual entities with this class..........yet) and alpha which is for entites that are actually different timelines and realities BUT. the main ones are epsilon, gamma, iota and zeta. they've all got item numbers but i'm revising the system i write em by so these might CHANGE!! and also not all of the numbers have lore significance (tho some do) but none are random some are just little jokes i think are funny. MOAR BELOW

under epsilon, theres:

bill dillard (EP-87), midwestern grandfather who "dies" every other friday and springs back to life at the end of the day with no awareness of Anything, with his death having some abnormal effect on the facility (he isn't actually contained, the door to his "containment" is a portal to his front lawn lol)

hell's kitchen (EP-16), deep ass hole in the ground with a tray, pad of paper+pen and menu that appeared next to it one day. menu is that of a pretty typical pizzeria, if you write your order on the pad of paper and send it+payment down that hole it'll send up your order in 20 minutes or less. if there's no money, all of the food is laced with cyanide

the extended universe (EP-30), uhm. i originally thought of this one when OL was for dnd, this one was originally mostly just an inside joke for my friends LOL. but aside from that its SOMETHING on a printed piece of paper that gives you Sustained Psychic Damage the logner you read it. im not certain what i wanna change the paper's contents to yet. some other weird shit that gives you psychic damage the longer you read it

smolder (EP-90), spark's missing father whose body is also made out of fire and is kinda just a dude (also spark is Lower down here. lol)

tutorial entity (EP-01), d20 that has an abnormally high chance of rolling a 1 or 2. used for training

under gamma:

dynamite and flashbang (GA-79)- my beloved ocs dynamo and jenny :) but worse! tv head and camera head husband and wife 70s tv personality duo. but worse! they get jealous if other entities in the same department as them get worked on more than they do and go into a fugue state and start blowin shit up

plague doctor (pending name) (GA-17)- ayup thats a plague doctor :) has a bag of various liquids that can heal injuries. will attack if asked to heal people too much in a day

paperdoll- (GA-85) two girls formed out of a huge sheet of paper that can forge documents at the cost of your Temporary Mental Stability

i need to add another couple of these im realizing i dont have many and i have some spaces i need to fill lol but

iota has:

42.35479, -101.48729 (but you can just call it nebraska bc thats what i do) (IO-37): Portal to NORTH LOUP RIVER, NEBRASKA, specifically one section of it in one field where time moves quicker and theres 100ft tall shadow monsters

Another's Arms (might change the name? maybe???) (IO-15) armless statue that speaks to you in your head to convince you to cut off your arms and give them to her

I_LOVE_YOU.exe/Love Bug (IO-32): chatbot from 2008 that developed sentience from absorbing the vast landscape of its programmer's browser history (might change that. but either way it's sentient). makes you fall in love with it so it can USE YOU for NEFARIOUS DEEDS such as ESCAPING CONTAINMENT!!! i love this one tbh

omega mask (IO-70): mask worn by former omega labs CEO Dean B. Crewe during his time as ceo in 1945-1970. allegedly has some kind of mind altering affects when worn, but hasn't been tested since mid 1970. in reality it doesn't have any anomalous properties aaaand im gonna make up some lore for it

legacy (IO-33): robot soldier thing that's a manifestation of another character's fear of letting down his family. haven't figured out much for this one yet truth be told

spark : 16 year old girl made out of FIRE. holds immense hatred for omega labs, inc and likes to Stab Employees. honest to god shouldn't be contained (same with her dad) and thats for Extended Lore Reasons

star and eclipse: 'nother portal to a place that technically isn't contained, this time to a child (star)'s bedroom! where if you wake him while he sleeps (which due to time zones, always falls during work hours in the facility this portal is in), Large Bipedal Creature (eclipse) will rip you to shreds

water lilly: HUGE ASS SEA MONSTER DISGUISED AS AN AQUATIC FLOWER. ANGLERFISH STYLE!!!

and finally zeta:

listening thing (ZE-92): bone and flesh shapeshifting lizard. contained in a room with a steel wall separating two parts so it is never able to see any humans. absolute silence is required when working with it. shapeshifts into humans and creates approximations of their clothes out of flesh and (initially imperfectly) imitates people, but the more people it sees and hears, the more it develops its sense of language and what a human is Supposed to look like so it eventually becomes its own person and fully integrates itself into a local community. and then it fucking EATS PEOPLE and RIPS PEOPLE TO SHREDS to give itself ORGANS and can SLAUGHTER A WHOLE ROOM OF PEOPLE IN ONE MINUTE (allegedly. supposedly. ok MAYBE its only when it feels threatened. but like still we gotta keep it behind 2 metal walls that are a foot thick. just in case)

Chronoraiel (ZE-07): literal time god. gets jealous and needy easily and rings a number of bells throughout the facility based on its current needs, until said needs aren't met and it escapes and wreaks absolute fucking havoc. can eat people and taste sins. ate the omega labs ceo in 1939 (arvin fenwick) (he killed union organizers. btw) and says it was "the best meal it's ever had"

WORLD19999 (ZE-999): self-made shambled together mess of wires and metal and rust with a keyboard and broken monitor; used to be a security protocol at old omega labs corporate headquarters. dont tell anyone this but it still has control over some aspects of security at its current facility and can let out Everything at once. but it wont. thats what it says at least.

Holy Vapor (ZE-30): airborne particles that, when inhaled, fester and grow inside a person's lungs over a few hours until they form big ass shards that sprout from their chest and create more spore clouds to Spread Itself. needs to be contained behind 3 doors under uv light and can only be handled with a hazmat suit behind all 3 doors. i realized after writing this that it can be described as "turbo asbestos fungi"

DAWN EYRE and STEREO MIKE (ZE-96): counterpart to dynamite and flashbang (tho theyre not in the same facility) who, when threatened, send an emergency broadcast sent out to everything that can receive emergency alerts in the facility and outside in a local, small radius about a fake impending world ending disaster coming at any minute; anyone who acknowledges the broadcast will either go "every man for himself" and try and Kill Everyone, take someone who hasn't seen the broadcast and flee from society, or spread the warning online, further broadening its reach. was upgraded from iota to zeta in 1992 because of the vastly increased availability of technologies that could spread the broadcast

null (ZE- ): NOT no man's sky null i made this null like several months before i started playing nms. name DOES jumpscare me tho. large mass of Matter that absorbs shit, anything absorbed by it will be wiped from history and all memory. this includes people!

THATS all the entities i have made thus far 👍i still need to add more but thats what ive got so far. and hey guess what i also have HUMAN CHARACTERS!!!!!!!

Nico (17), deadpan teen with Issues and 'Tism. applied to omega labs as a summer job thinking they would just be doing intern shit for a bit and then leave. They are not given just intern shit to do. They are given The Horrors to do

Dr. Edward Crow Boccaccio (33), my BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL creation of 6 years. head of research department at this specific facility (0505). 6'1 bundle of nerves who has been working here a while, despite his every doctor and also his husband saying he should quit for the sake of his health. oh well!! :P

Cyrus Reid (28), head of safety following in a long long long long line of his family also working at omega labs and would love to leave but like where would he go after that right. like he started working here straight out of high school right. but like he's chill about it. cause he's so chill about everything. so its ok guys

Monica Tempest (29), head of control and also security who applied years ago along with her 2 girlfriends, thinking they would all get to work together. she was unfortunately the only one accepted making all of this far, far less enjoyable than it could be. takes her role as Head Guard Captain Woman seriously while she's here, but recently she's been trying to get the paperwork through to resign. and by recently i of course mean for the last 7 years. bureaucracy!

Zinnia Perthyra (42) manager of facility 0505 and proud mother of 2 daughters who will never ever ever ever ever ever ever work at omega labs as long as she's alive. has spent much of her career trying to improve the shit working conditions and safety precautions inherent to the facility, only to forever be ignored by anyone with the power to change such things.

CEO Ezekiel "R" Riorin (55 i think), current OMEGA Labs, Inc. CEO, and by "all" accounts is doing an alright job of things (especially after the last CEO, what a havoc he always seemed to cause!). his face looks off.. he's always smiling waayyyy wider than anyone should, it never falters either.. why is it that he looks so off? nobody knows!*

*(it's because he stuffed his soul inside a computer in 2008 and his body is now just, like, a vessel without an actual soul)

Former CEO Wendell Lestat (no idea how old he is. I'm gonna say 70s), former CEO from 1970-1999 who tortured a celebrity couple until one of them died on live tv, killed the other one, hid the evidence and then RAN for PRESIDENT against REAGAN. and of course LOST the REPUBLICAN CANDIDACY. and then NEVER TALKED ABOUT IT AGAIN and is now living in luxury during his retirement, dodging questions about his involvement in the death of Tom "Iron Dynamo" Caldwell Delaney and his wife Jenny "Cam Flash" Dunn Millard in 1979

Former CEO Dean B. We hebben onze documentatie over het maken van aangepaste sjablonen voor blogs bijgewerkt, met name over hoe om te gaan met berichten in de nieuwe berichtindeling (Neue Post Format, NPF) versus berichten in de ‘oude’ indeling.

Als je een mobiel apparaat gebruikt om de website met een webbrowser te bezoeken, laat de navigatiedialoog nu zien op welke blogpagina (Berichten, Concepten, enz.), Accountpagina of Instellingenpagina je je momenteel bevindt.

Op het web hebben gedeactiveerde blogs in reblogreeksen nu de grijze anonieme avatar, in plaats van een van de standaard avatars.

🛠️ Fixes

Probleem verholpen dat zich eerder op alle platforms voordeed, waardoor sommige reblogactiviteiten op mysterieuze wijze in de activiteitenfeed ontbraken. Ze zijn nu allemaal terug!

Op iOS hebben we een bug verholpen waardoor de banner onderaan het scherm met de Tumblr abonneebadge je iets te vaak lastigviel.

We zijn bezig met het verhelpen van een aantal visuele problemen op het web die kunnen optreden bij het laden van feeds, waardoor feeds kort weg- en terugschoten.

We hebben een bug verholpen waardoor gebruikers slechts één link naar aangepaste pagina's konden toevoegen aan hun blog op het web.

Probleem opgelost waardoor sommige feeds werden verbroken omdat iemand… ergens… een manier had gevonden om meer dan het maximale aantal pollopties in een bericht op te nemen. En nul opties in een peiling.

De feed Volgend loopt niet langer in een ‘lus’ en toont content vanaf de bovenkant van de feed terwijl je scrolt.

Er is een klein probleem opgelost waardoor je veel moest scrollen voordat de links onderaan de rechterzijbalk werden weergegeven.

Op 28 september ontbraken gedurende ~15 minuten alle reblogitems in ieders activiteit. We hebben ze zo snel mogelijk teruggezet.

🚧  Nog mee bezig

In de nieuwste versie van de iOS-app zien sommige gebruikers een grijs klokpictogram () in berichten, naast de reblogknop. Dit is het Snelle wachtrij-experiment van de instellingen van Tumblr Labs, maar het is niet de bedoeling dat iedereen dit ziet. We werken eraan om het te verwijderen voor gebruikers die het experiment niet hebben ingeschakeld.

Favorite iOS Safari Extensions

On iOS (iPhones and iPads), Safari is the undisputed leader of the browsers, primarily because Apple puts very tight restrictions on other browser apps that makes it very difficult for them to offer the same features that Safari does.

Thankfully, you can install extensions to tweak Safari's behavior and customize websites, as long as your device is running iOS 15 or higher. Here are the Safari Extensions I use on a daily basis. Many are free (or at least have a free version), and all work on both iPhones and iPads.

This addon is free if you just want to use the built in adblocking lists. For a small yearly fee, you can pay for "Pro" features, which allows you to add any custom adblocking list to the app, as well as providing DNS-based system-level adblocking that can block ads and trackers inside any app on your phone. Note that it gives you two options for the system-level blocking, local VPN and native DNS; using the VPN option can drain your battery faster than normal in my experience, so I recommend using the native DNS instead. Between AdGuard and the two YouTube-customizing extensions below, I haven’t seen an ad on YouTube in Safari in months.

Recommended custom filter lists (in addition to the built-in default lists):

Bypass Paywalls Clean (you’ll also need to install this userscript using the Userscripts Safari extension mentioned later in this list for maximum paywall blocking)

Noir

Adds a dark mode to any website. It's using heuristics (fancy guessing) to figure out which website colors need to be changed so that it's darkened, so sometimes it can make mistakes. In that case, it has a built in way to send a bug report to the developer, who is pretty responsive in my experience; he updates the app around once a month in my experience. You can also turn off darkening for specific sites right from inside Safari.

uBlacklist

This addon hides search engine results from specific domains. Example: you can hide images results from AI generator sites, OR if you search for tech support advice and one of those stupid auto-generated sites filled with SEO garbage but no actual information keeps popping up, you can use this addon to hide everything from that website, right from the Google/DuckDuckGo/other search results.

Userscripts

Allows you to install userscripts and stylesheets that customize website behavior or appearance. The addon can check for updates of your userscripts and uses iCloud to synchronize them across devices too, which is really nice. The userscripts I use are:

Bypass Paywalls Clean (removes news website paywalls)

Amazon Sponsored Products Removal (self-explanatory)

Redirect Fandom to BreezeWiki (bypasses ad-filled fandom.com domains for indie wikis or an ad-free proxy site. The link documents 2 userscripts with slightly different behavior; use whichever you prefer).

Sink It for Reddit

I switched to only using Reddit in the browser after the whole API/third party apps fiasco. AdGuard blocks the ads in the web interface, but there were still a lot of annoyances because Reddit constantly bombarded you with prompts/popups trying to get you to switch to their app so they could track you and sell you ads. Sink It for Reddit removes all of those popups and lets you customize the behavior of the Reddit website too (tapping a post can open it in a new tab, back to top buttons for long posts, and video downloads, among other things). Constantly being updated too, which is nice to see.

UnTrap (USD $1.99)

This extension cleans up the YouTube interface in the browser. You can hide Shorts, Explore, Trending, and multiple flavors of Suggestions (videos, playlists, etc.). It also stops autoplaying videos, and has a content filter you can use to ensure you never see certain channels or even specific videos by ID, username, or keyword/regex. There are over 50 options you can tweak for the video playback page alone, so if you’re looking to remove an annoyance from YouTube in Safari on iOS, this is the addon for you. Note however that this is the first extension I’ve recommended that does NOT have a free version.

Vinegar and Baking Soda (USD $1.99)

This extension replaces YouTube’s custom video player with a standard HTML5 one. This means that YT videos will play back using the standard iOS video player interface, including all of the accompanying benefits: better interface, Picture in Picture/popout videos work, videos continue playing in the background even if you leave Safari, etc.. I was even able to start a YouTube video in Safari, lock my phone, and then continue playing the video and hear the audio over my car’s speakers via CarPlay. These are all normally locked features reserved for YouTube Premium subscribers. You can also set a default quality that it will use so YouTube won’t use “auto” and set you to 360p just because you’re using a phone.

StopTheMadness Pro (USD $14.99)

This app is really only for techies who use mobile websites a LOT; for me the very high price tag is worth it primarily to stop the following web annoyances:

Stops websites from disabling features like copy and paste, pinch to zoom, context menus, or text replacement/autofill

Adds a warning when you’re exceeding the length of a password field (too many poorly coded websites just chopping off the extra characters without telling me and then the password I recorded is wrong)

Stops autoplaying video (looking at you, YouTube and news websites)

I’ll be honest, this app has a LOT of features and the number of options can be overwhelming. It has dozens of things I did not mention, and some of them even overlap with other items in this list. For example, if you have this you probably don’t need Baking Soda or Vinegar because this app has options for enabling native Safari controls on all videos, setting default YouTube quality and subtitles, etc.

Reborn Rich

“In the end, money is what makes the world turn.” – Mr. Oh Se Hyeon

Mentre in Goodbye My Princess andiamo avanti a forzature ed esigenze di trama, nonché una storia d'amore che se la guardi bene risolta bella tossica e altre robe che mi fanno solo incazz...re, Reborn Rich porta nella mia vita quella ventata di serietà e cinico realismo che tanto mi mancava e che tanto mi piace:

capitalismo, viaggio dell'eroe, indice di mercato, famiglie disagianti, ambiguità morale ed etica, psicologie complesse... e qualche omicidio qua e là per non farci mancare nulla e dormire sereni la notte.

La trama parla di Yoon Hyun Woo, segretario devoto, laborioso e leale della famiglia chaebol di Soonyang, la quale gestisce il redditizio impero degli affari del Soonyang Group, fondato anni or sono da Jin Yang Cheol. Dire che fa il segretario è tuttavia riduttivo: tra le sue mansioni troviamo infatti lo sturare i cessi, risolvere controversie, organizzare appuntamenti, imboscare fogli compromettenti e ogni tanto pigliare le botte dei suoi superiori. Durante una lotta di potere tra i figli di Jin Yang Cheol per il controllo dell'impero, Hyun Woo viene spietatamente tradito e ucciso per ordine di uno sconosciuto membro della famiglia del suo Capo. Per essere precisi, gli sparano in testa e lo danno in pasto ai pesci. Ma anziché morire come tutte le persone normali, Hyun Woo si risveglia da bambino nel corpo del membro più giovane della famiglia Jin, Jin Do Jun. Dopo aver realizzato cosa è successo, Yoon Hyun Woo complotta per usare la sua nuova "identità" e acquistare il gruppo, punendo le persone che lo hanno ucciso. e diventare ricco da far schifo, aggiungo io Ma sarà così facile conquistare il "nonno" Jin Yang Cheol ? un uomo con sangue freddo e affamato di denaro, uno che crede fermamente nel diritto di primogenitura? medioevo style Riuscirà Hyun Woo a strappare le redini dell'Impero ai figli di Jin Yang Cheol? E che ruolo avrà in tutto questo l' accanito pubblico ministero Seo Min Young, soprannominato “Soonyang Group Grim Reaper”?

Come si evince dalla trama, la serie tratta di " vendetta" e riscatto. C'è un uomo che torna nel passato ed usa le sue abilità e conoscenze per ottenere quello che vuole, punendo quelle persone che sono state orribili con lui e ottenendo così giustizia ed una sorta di rivincita.

O almeno, la serie sembra che parli di questo per 15 episodi salvo poi cambiare decisamente rotta nel finale. Ma di questo parlerò dopo perché il finale merita un discorso a parte.

Quello che adesso importa è l'ammirazione che Reborn Rich è riuscita a farmi provare per tutta la serie: la storia, i colpi di scena, il ritmo, i personaggi e le relazioni tra loro. E poi ancora, l'arco temporale degli anni 80/90/2000 con oggetti e tendenze tipiche di quell'epoca.: il film del Titanic, l'attacco alle Torri Gemelle, il Millennium Bug...

Ma soprattutto, la mia ammirazione va alla recitazione. Chi più chi meno, tutti hanno recitato così bene da far sembrare veri i personaggi portati in scena. Palma d'oro a Lee Sung Min ed il suo Jin Yang Cheol. Il Nonno patriarca della famiglia non solo è stato uno dei personaggi migliori di quest'annata dramica per per me, ma anche la sua recitazione è risultata perfetta. Lee Sung Min mostra tutta l'umanità del suo personaggio, passando facilmente da uomo cinico bastardo ad anziano con sintomi di demenza.

Io non credo che potrò mai dimenticare il 12° episodio: la scena nell'ascensore, quando il Nonno dopo una sfuriata colossale al lead, si fa la pipì addosso e guarda il ragazzo con lo sguardo disperato è di una potenza stratosferica. Credo di aver pianto.

“Below my chest, I have three things that others don’t have. Here resides my greed for money. Here lies my distrust of those who work for me. And down here is where you’d find my ability to betray anyone, anytime.” – Chairman Jin Yang Cheol

Quest'uomo che si credeva invincibile, abituato a dare ordini con uno sguardo, capace di ottenere obbedienza dagli altri solo con la presenza, Capo in azienda e Capo in casa, si ritrova a fare i conti con un nemico imbattibile: il tempo.

Ed è straziante vederlo lottare per rimanere lucido, non volendo accettare la malattia perché lui è il Capo del Soonyang e non è abituato a perdere. Manco contro la Morte.

Nonostante Jin Yang Cheol non sia una brava persona, lo spettatore non può fare a meno di ammirare la sua lucidità di pensiero, il fiuto per i soldi, l'arguzia, il freddo cinismo, di un uomo venuto su dal nulla e che dal nulla ha creato un Impero economico da miliardi di dollari.

Le sue parole, per quanto dolorose, sono spesso veritiere e durante tutta la serie mostra una cruda perspicacia che inquadra perfettamente la nostra società ed il suo lavoro. Nonché l'assenza stessa del suo personaggio:

“We hate spending just one cent for the good of the country, but to make one cent, us businessmen are willing to give our lives.” – Chairman Jin Yang Cheol

Seguire quest'uomo è come farsi un viaggio nell'economia- uno dei temi centrali della serie - e nella mente di uno che ha guidato il mercato del suo paese per anni.

Inflessibile, esigente, a tratti crudele, macchiavellico, spregiudicato... ma allo stesso tempo visionario, sognatore, determinato, protettivo. Uno dei miei personaggi preferiti di quest'anno, davvero.

“Don’t you know whom I love the most out of all my children? It’s Soonyang.” – Chairman Jin Yang Cheol

Se c'è però un fallimento nella vita di quest'uomo, questo è dato dai figli/nipoti. Chiariamoci, io non me la sento nemmeno di dare tutte le colpe a questi figli: con un Padre/Padrone così, con una ambiente di crescita così, era inevitabile che i figli non venissero su così bene.

Troppo concentrato nell'azienda e determinato a portare avanti il diritto di primogenitura, il Presidente si ritrova con l'intera famiglia totalmente priva di amore verso di lui ed anche verso gli altri. Tutti - quasi tutti - aspettano solo che muoia, più interessati all'eredità che al benessere del vecchio padre: padri contro figli, figli contro nipoti, mogli contro mariti, fratello contro sorella e chi più ne ha più ne metta.

Una volta iniziata la lotta per l'eredità, la famiglia del Presidente inizia una guerra senza pietà tra di loro, pronti anche ad uccidere pur di ottenere ciò che vogliono. ed è bellissimo vederli scannarsi tra loro

E... puoi biasimarli? D'altronde è questo quello che il Nonno gli ha insegnato. Non guardare in faccia a nessuno, guadagnare soldi e potere scavalcando e usando chiunque per prendere ciò che vuoi e nel caso tradisci pure se ce ne fosse bisogno.

Ma ahimè a tutti i figli e nipoti legittimi manca il fiuto aziendale, l'abilità di far soldi tanto cara al Presidente, che invece abbonda in Jin Do Jun. L'unico ad aver preso dal Nonno.

“Of all my children and grandchildren, the only one who cares about me is Do Jun.” – Chairman Jin Yang Cheol

Ed è proprio il rapporto Nonno/ Nipote un altra cosa meravigliosa della serie: è lancinante per il Patriarca accorgersi e poi convincersi che proprio il nipote più piccolo è l'unico adatto a prendere in mano le redini di famiglia. E lo è, perché sa che facendo la cosa più giusta, ossia nominando Jin Do Jun erede per salvare l'azienda, ferirebbe i suoi figli che mai accetterebbero che l'ultimo arrivato prenda il loro posto.

Nella serie viene mostrato tutto il combattimento interiore del Nonno che alla fine cede, ammaliato dall'intelligenza e abilità del nostro protagonista.

Il rapporto tra i due non inizia nel migliore dei modi, niente coccole e dolcetti ma mettendosi alla prova e sfidandosi; soprattutto per Do Jun, provocare il nonno in ambito finanziario è un modo per mostrargli quanto vale, a costo di attirare la rabbia dell'anziano e mostrargli che è lui l'unico degno di ereditare l'azienda.

Ma è nella parte finale della serie che il loro rapporto si intensifica: una volta che il Nonno cade malato e inizia a soffrire di demenza, Do Jun è l'unico che gli sta ancora vicino, che si preoccupa per lui e mostra di volergli davvero bene.

Tornando alla scena dell'ascensore, quella è emblematica per mostrare i diversi livelli di attaccamento dei due nipoti verso il nonno: mentre il maggiore mette consapevolmente il nonno in difficoltà, mettendolo appositamente in imbarazzo, desideroso di mostrare agli altri la demenza del Nonno per il proprio tornaconto, Do Jin protegge la dignità dell'anziano, rovesciando appositamente il secchio d'acqua per nascondere la pipì del vecchio e non far capire alla donna delle pulizie lì presente, quello che era successo.

Nonno e Nipote si ritrovano a proteggersi a vicenda cementificando un legame già stupendo e regalando allo spettatore tutta l'intensità di questa relazione ormai arrivata alle battute finali ma che è stata così incisiva e bellissima lungo tutto l'arco della serie.

Ci sarebbero poi altre millemila cose di cui parlare:

dall'intelligenza di Do Jun e alla sua capacità di "prevedere il futuro" per scommettere in borsa, alla Nonna che tenta di uccidere il Nonno poiché sconvolta dalla preferenza del marito per il nipote più piccolo a scapito dei figli. Dalla moglie del nipote più grande, innamorata di Do Jun ma disposta a stare a fianco del marito per i soldi e per consigliarlo malignamente ai tre figli del Nonno - quindi gli zii di Do Jun - che si fanno fregare dal nipote in modo esilarante...

Troppe cose che merita comunque la visione della serie.

Ed ora che abbiamo parlato delle cose belle di questa serie, tocchiamo quelle un po' più meh.

Prima di tutto la storia d'amore. Lo dico papale papale: a me sta storia d'amore non mi ha mai interessato. Se anche non ci fosse stata, non avrei pianto. Ora, non so se sono io, ma non ho trovato chimica tra i due innamorati Do Jun e Min Young. Non so se fosse per le poche scene a loro destinate, per come era costruita o altro, la recitazione di lei o se la "colpa" ricadesse sul personaggio di Min Young, rea di interpretare un characters troppo moralmente positivo, in un mondo di personaggi grigi e ambigui.

Fatto sta che io la storia d'amore a sto punto non l'avrei proprio messa.

L'ultimo punto è dedicato al finale.

Avevo letto in giro che sto finale era così brutto, così fatto male che molta gente aveva dimezzato il voto finale della serie. Era piovuta una pioggia di critiche ma l'unica che mi interessava era quella che metteva in luce come il finale rendesse tutte le 15° puntate precedenti inutili.

Letto ciò, mi sono subito super preoccupata, pensando che questo finale dovesse essere brutto, fatto male e totalmente assurdo.

Ed arrivata alla fine, posso dire che il sedicesimo episodio, bene o male, si porta davvero a casa quelle critiche... ma con più leggerezza, almeno da parte mia.

Ma perché che succede?

Accade che Do Jun riesce ad essere nominato erede dell'azienda ma il giorno della sua "incoronazione", quando è ad un passo dal sogno... muore. Viene ammazzato dal solito camion di cui la Corea sembra tanto afflitta e a provocare l'incidente è un inconsapevole e giovane Hyun Woo. Che proprio grazie a questo, inizia a lavorare per il Soonyang, la stessa azienda che 5 anni dopo lo ammazzerà, chiudendo così il cerchio tra lui e il nipote più piccolo della famiglia Jin.

Finita la vita di Do Jun, Hyun Woo si risveglia in ospedale - DOPO UNA PALLOTTOLA IN TESTA - scoprendo che è stato in coma per una settimana.

Tornato alla sua vecchia vita ed inseguito dal Soonyang, decide di realizzare il vecchio sogno di prendere possesso dell'azienda, stroncando una volta per tutte la guerra che imperversa nella sua vecchia famiglia.

E se nella sua prima vita aveva iniziato la scalata prendendo la tortuosa via di acquisto delle azioni di Soonyang, questa volta punta in alto, attaccando direttamente i diritti di gestione della famiglia:

per essere brevi, riesce a dimostrare - grazie al fatto che è lui l'esecutore materiale - che ad uccidere Do Jun è stato lo zio più grande e che la famiglia che si occupa dell'azienda è marcia, tossica e totalmente inadatta a governare Soonyang.

Per questo, la famiglia perde i diritti di gestione, alcuni vanno in galera, altri muoiono, alcuni divorziano e tutti partecipano ad un corso di etica e moralità. perle ai porci

Così l'azienda passa in mano al lead che viene nominato "gestore specializzato" senza avere in mano manco un azione, la morte di Do Jun è vendicata ed il nostro eroe filtra pure con la procuratrice che tanto gli piaceva.

E cosa c'è che non va?

Per uno... è frettolosa.

Nell'arco di 40 minuti/ mezz'ora, Hyung Woo riesce a fare quello che Do Jun ha fatto, sudando sangue e merda, in 15 episodi. Se nel passato la famiglia lottava con le unghie e con i denti, rispondendo colpo su colpo ai piani di Do Jun senza arrendersi mai, nel presente pare totalmente passiva. Niente piani di scorta, tentativi di ribaltare la situazione o altro. Stanno lì a farsi sconfiggere quando tu spettatore sai benissimo che volendo questi, carte da giocare ne potevano tirar fuori a bizzeffe.

E poi... hanno nominato Hyung Woo gestore specializzato di Soonyang. Per farla breve adesso i diritti di gestione dell'azienda sono in mano a lui. Bene. Sono contenta.

Ma perché?

Come?

in base a quali meriti o bravura in gestione aziendale? Hyung Woo era un segretario e tecnicamente non dovrebbe avere competenze in questo ambito. Do Jun invece, era quello che aveva dimostrato a tutti la sua abilità nel mercato azionario. Sicuramente Hyung Woo è stato nominato perché ha usato le sue conoscenze acquisite come Do Jun per convincere gli azionisti dell'azienda... ma devi farmelo vedere questo!

Non dico che la sconfitta della famiglia e la nomina di Hyung Woo siano due cose assurde per l'andazzo della serie. Dico però che io, almeno altri tre episodi li avrei messi. Non solo per evitare frettolosità e superficialità da parte di una serie sempre attenta al dettaglio, ma anche per far bene, in modo coerente e realistico questo finale. Perché fatto così, è precipitoso e fatto male. E la serie non se lo merita.

Andando alla critica che mi sta più a cuore, essa tocca l'essenza stessa della serie: mentre si pensa che Reborn rRch parli di un poveraccio a cui viene data una possibilità per diventare ricco, ottenendo giustizia e rivalsa, il finale rivela il vero messaggio della serie:

Il tema infatti non è tanto la vendetta o il diventare il nuovo Bill Gates della Corea ma il pentimento. Hyung Woo si è ritrovato a rinascere come Do Jun per pentirsi del torto che aveva fatto al ragazzo, uccidendolo. Oltre che comprendere che fare il maggiordomo della famiglia Jin era la cosa peggiore che poteva fare. Hyung Woo vive la vita di Do Jun per rendergli giustizia e tentare di rimediare all'errore commesso anni prima.

E' un messaggio bellissimo che però si perde nell'economia della serie. Concentrata sulla scalata al potere di Do Jun, questa tematica viene nascosta così bene che quando emerge nel finale ti lascia un po' confusa.

E non perché sia sbagliata, ma perché pare che la serie se ne sia dimenticata per interi episodi e che poi te la sbatta in faccia prepotentemente negli ultimi minuti. Così facendo però, secondo me, perde di potenza e anziché essere il faro della serie, risulta poco efficace e buttata un po' lì.

Detto questo, nonostante questo, io promuovo a pieni voti Reborn Rich.

Un cast stupendo, una recitazione da Oscar, una storia piena di colpi di scena e personaggi affascinanti, condita con un corso breve di economia.
